Midhurst Museum

Museum

The Midhurst Museum is a great place to visit to find out more about the town and its history. It is located in a 16th century building on Knockhundred Row, just off North Street. It is small but well maintained by an enthusiastic group of volunteers. Displays change regularly with special features every month or two.

There is no charge to visit the museum.

Tea Room

Above the museum, in what was a hayloft, is the museum tea room. They serve tea, coffee, light lunches, and cakes. The tea room is well worth a visit so you can see a bit more of the old but very interesting building in which it resides. From the rear window you get a unique view of Midhurst and the hills beyond.

Opening Hours

The museum and tea room are open Tuesday to Saturday between 10.30 am and 4 pm. Both venues are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
